A mysterious woman jumps in his car at a gas station. She becomes his nonjudgemental companion. A turbulent journey through Europe starts: drugs, ecstasy, loose contacts, foreign places - they experience a surreal time in a state of intoxication, in the middle of nowhere.

About Aki T. Weisshaus
A "jewel of underground cinema" and "manifesto of independent film." - With these words, the Italian trade press celebrated SOMEHOW, the debut film of the film collective AKI T. WEISSHAUS, after it opened the festival at the Torino Underground Cinefest in September 2022, winning in the three main categories of Best Feature Film, Best Director and Best Actor.
The film collective AKI T. WEISSHAUS stands for democratic, equal and anti-hierarchical filmmaking. The collective was founded in spring 2018 and consists of the filmmakers: Alicia Saleh, Alexander Peiler, Jessica Jacobi, Julian Pfeil, Jonas Bomba and Josua Zehner. In their debut work SOMEHOW, they explore the boundaries between documentary and fictional filmmaking and merge both forms.
